Sofia Börjesson is associate professor in technology management and the director of CBI. The academic research field evolves around questions of how organizations change and develop with focus on the management of innovation work. Examples of current research include green innovation challenges, innovative capabilities in large mature firms. The research is conducted based on qualitative methods such as interviewing, joint workshops, and participative observations, and is based on the idea to produce actionable knowledge - knowledge which can be put into use in organisations - and to contribute to both theory and practice. The research is therefore often conducted as collaborative research - jointly with companies where practitioners serve as research partners.Sofia Börjesson is also head of division at Innovation Engineering and Management. |
