Partners comprise all the actors who collaborate in our research projects. Our objective is to constitute an environment where research is done in collaboration with companies in the field of innovation. Action-oriented, interactive research is our distinguishing feature. This is carried out and financed primarily in specific research projects. Our public consists of companies. Our research partners are thus found in our project collaboration. We have a portfolio of on-going research) and development projects whose stakeholders are the participating companies, Vinnova and Chalmers, for an overview see RESEARCH PROJECTS. In our projects it is desirable that the companies are financial partners and contribute both economic support and “time in kind”. It is according to this mechanism – collaboration in projects where expectations and a win-win focus have been established on the basis of the project’s orientation – that our research is ensured to produce actionable knowledge. Given that the projects are housed within CBI as a center, partners who collaborate in individual research projects are also invited to take part in the activities that CBI offers, such as workshops, seminars, access to the faculty for advice, availability of the Web, and opportunities to make contact with other companies.
