We are currently recruiting a set of talented and driven Chalmers students to complete their master’s thesis projects with Center for Business Innovation (CBI).

What’s in it for you

From the perspective of the students, there are several benefits:

  • Students have the potential to make a very significant impact on a growth oriented firm
  • Students get to work closely together with faculty
  • Students can do a thesis project that has a good fit with the MEI topic area and
  • Students get satisfaction of working in a project that (really) has the commitment of the management of the client firm
  • Students get competitive monetary compensation

What are Business Innovation Projects (BIP)?

Partnering with some of Sweden’s most interesting industrial firms, Chalmers Business Innovation has established an academic platform to help solving complex client issues by providing a breadth of business, strategy and innovation linked solutions. Our commitment is to provide CBI business clients with tangible study results that help them in their generation of new business innovations, development of potential business plans as well as innovation commercialization and execution.

The upcoming Business Innovation Project 2011

The client for the 2011 BIP is a medium-sized, Swedish, fast growing, technology-based firm. They have an established product that has been successful in the marine business and are now looking to apply their technology to achieve growth in a different customer industry. The main task of the Business Innovation Project will be to identify and evaluate the most promising solvable customer problems in the new industry, in particular to: identify, validate and quantify the initial target segment.
