The CBI Board decides on research themes and key activities and overviews the activities and performance of CBI. The board currently has the below listed members:
- Anders Brännström, CEO, Volvo Technology Transfer, Vice Chairman, CBI
- Sofia Börjesson, Associate Professor, Theme Leader “Managing Green Innovation”, Executive Director, CBI
- Ulf Granstrand, Executive Vice President, Alfa Laval
- Mats Magnusson, Associate Professor, Theme Leader “Discontinuous Innovation”, Executive Director, IMIT
- Gunnar Preijfors, VP, Research SCA Personal Care
- Sören Sjölander, Professor, Theme Leader, “Entrepreneurial Learning and Business Modeling”, Chairman CBI
- Örjan Sölvell, Professor, Stockholm School of Economics
The board meets three times per year in a yearly cycle focusing on action plan, budget & accounting and appraisal.
